Pokemon has never been shy about crossing over with other brands for promotional events. You'd think that more than 25 years in, it would be running out of options when it comes to fresh collaborations. On the one hand, you might think that's the case when it's teaming up with something as left field as the Van Gogh Museum. However, the buzz that crossover has generated proves Pokemon can make money by teaming up with just about anything.
The first rollout of stock resulted in the Van Gogh Museum being mobbed as fans attempted to be among the few who'd get the free promotional Pikachu card. The situation was so serious that Pokemon announced shortly afterward that the card would no longer be available at the museum. However, it has been given to people who spend $30 or more through the Pokemon Center. Before you rush off to do that, I don't think the promotion is still running.

The good news is you now have another chance to pick up some of the limited edition Pokemon x Van Gogh Museum merchandise. The bad news is at the time of typing this, the museum's website has buckled under the weight. Naturally not accustomed to receiving the kind of traffic a Pokemon product drop generates, the site appeared to go down shortly after the stock drop went live at 8 a.m. this morning.
That means I'm currently unable to check the site to see what's in stock, if anything. What I can confirm is you are very unlikely to find the limited edition Van Gogh Pikachu plush on the site again.
