Pokémon is always coming out with new merch, and the latest is a new line of Poké Ball replicas that includes the Heal Ball, Friend Ball, and more. For anyone who’s dreamed of holding a real Poké Ball, this is the next best thing. While every adult Pokémon fan’s inner ten-year-old might long for Pokémon to really exist, this should help tide them over—or at least make for some cool collectibles to put on display.
Recently, Pokémon merchandise has experienced a bit of a resurgence in popularity. Pokémon cards, in particular, came back into popularity, with many collecting countless packs in attempts to get rare, highly-valued cards. This became such a big deal that Pokémon have been hard to find as of late, with celebrities like Logan Paul paying $3.5 million for a set of allegedly first-edition cards (that then turned out not to be Pokémon cards at all). Fortunately for everyone, the Pokémon Center, the official store for Pokémon merchandise, frequently announces new collaborations and releases, with everything from Pokémon-themed winter apparel to a life-size Lucario plush toy. The latest announcement goes back to the fundamentals of what makes Pokémon so iconic.
