Pokémon GO Announces Poké Ball Prep Rally With Hisuian Electrode
As 2022 content continues to roll out for the massively popular Pokémon GO, developer Niantic is offering up an assortment of perks for players, including a catchable Hisuian Voltorb that can be evolved into Hisuian Electrode. These bonuses are dropping ahead of the Johto Tour, which will provide additional gameplay incentives and opportunities.
Pokémon GO has been a consistent phenomenon among both casual and dedicated gamers since it launched on mobile devices back in 2016. Pokémon GO is an augmented reality game that makes use of the camera, gyro controls, and GPS capabilities on players' smartphones to create its gameplay systems. As the leading game of this type, Pokémon GO requires players to traverse their environment to find new Pokémon to catch, gym battles to defeat, and PokéStops to interact with. To keep things fresh, Pokémon GO has adopted a live-service model similar to other free-to-play games on console, which means that the game is constantly being updated with new content.
