Pokemon Legends: Arceus was released only a couple of weeks ago, and since then, many fans of the series have been checking out the game. Set in the ancient Hisui region, this latest installment in the series looked to mix things up by looking to the past. As a result, many objects received a new appearance to reflect the ancient time period. Among the redesigns featured in the game was one for the Poke Ball.
Since the very beginning of the franchise, Pokemon trainers have used Poke Balls to catch Pokemon. As the name suggests, they are small spherical containers with a red upper half and white lower half. In Pokemon Legends: Arceus, these balls received a new design featuring a slightly more rustic look. Instead of the shiny metallic surfaces, they now had a brownish color as certain parts of the orb appeared to be made out of wood. Recently, one gamer decided to capture this new yet old design in an original piece of art.

In a post on Reddit, a user known as TiphCreations shared an image of a piece of artwork they had created using Photoshop. However, this was no ordinary picture. Instead, the creator had decided to make fanart based on a Poke Ball. In addition, this artwork featured the new design seen in the recently released Pokemon Legends: Arceus. In the image, a rustic-looking Poke Ball sat in the middle of a patch of grass. The scene took place at night, allowing sparks and some smoke to be seen emanating from the ball, causing a soft light to be cast on the surrounding blades of grass.
