Pokemon Go's Shiny Jirachi Masterwork Research goes live today. Costing $4.99, trainers might want to consider how many hours they plan on investing in the mobile game before handing over that money. The first two stages of the research will require a lot of work, including catching more than 1,100 Pokemon split between three different regions.

Trainers will need to get ten different Pokemon up to Best Buddy status and then earn a heart with their buddy for 14 straight days. That means stage two of the research will take at least two weeks to complete. There will likely be more to do after that as well, potentially making Jirachi the most difficult shiny to find so far.
All of the above might sound like bad news for Pokemon Go players, but completionists who continue to dedicate hours to the game will likely be
