February is looking busy for Pokémon GO players, with the Season of Heritage, a Community Day, and the Johto Tour all adding objectives to complete. While recent months have been a mixed bag for players, with many frustrated at the Mega Steelix Candy rewards from January, February could be more promising for those wanting more to accomplish while playing Pokémon GO. Despite this, many may be likely to take advantage of everything that has been confirmed for the coming weeks.
Pokémon GO is currently building excitement for the Johto Tour 2022 event occurring on Saturday, February 26 from 9 AM to 9 PM local time. The event will give players a chance to catch Lugia, Ho-oh, Raikou, Entei, and Suicune in Five-Star raids throughout the day, while common Pokémon will also be spawning on the overworld map. Players will need to purchase a Global Event Ticket, however, to access all the content possible during the Johto Tour, with heightened Shiny odds for certain Johto-specific Pokémon tied to not just the ticket, but the ticket type, the player selects.

Players who purchase the Pokémon GO Johto Tour ticket before February 10 will also gain access to a special Seasons of Heritage Timed Research for the month of February. Featuring the Valor team leader Candela, the monthly bonus for the Seasons of Heritage Timed Research will be a 2x increase in XP for hatching eggs, as well as a catch challenge of 600 Pokémon to obtain a Noibat-themed hat for player avatars.
