(Pocket-lint) — The Pokemon Company is planning to hold a new Pokemon Presents video presentation soon, but it's not yet clear what it will announce.
Nevertheless, we made some educated guesses.
The next Pokemon Presents takes place 27 February 2022 — aka Pokemon Day — at 9am ET. Visit this world clock to determine your local time for the event.
If you used emojis a whole bunch you might want to think about picking one of these keyboards up.
You will be able to watch the stream from the Pokemon YouTube channel. Pocket-lint will embed it above come event day.
The Pokemon Company hasn't revealed what to expect from the event — other than to say in a tweet that it'll be a brief recorded event around 14 minutes long.
But the event will be held on Pokemon Day, which marks the anniversary of the first games in the franchise. Pokemon Red and Green both released in Japan on 1996 February 27. The Pokemon Company has already announced updates for some games, including Pokemon Unite, Pokemon Go, and Pokemon Cafe Mix, according to Polygon. It's unclear if its event will focus on those games or perhaps even Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, which released last year, or the more recent Pokemon Legends: Arceus.
There's also a beta of a virtual trading card game, Pokemon TCG Live. Or, the company could provide information on new projects. It's hard to tell with such little information.
