It would likely be an understatement to say that Gengar has been a part of the Pokemon series for a long time. In fact, this Ghost/Poison-type Pokemon was first introduced as part of the original Gen 1 Pokedex, and ever since then, it has remained a staple of the franchise. Recently, one gamer decided to make fan art that paid tribute to this ghoulish pocket monster.

In a post on Reddit, a user known as 3Devious_Art shared a video of a recent Pokemon 3D card they had designed. In particular, this card stood out because it starred Gengar, who was wearing a menacing grin as it peaked around the corner of a brick wall in what seemed to be a dark alley. In the video, the Reddit user rotated the card in their hand, revealing that it appeared to be constructed of several layers, with the outermost one having a vivid purple color. These multiple layers created the 3D effect of the card that helped to enhance the design even further, making it feel as though there was a sense of depth to the artwork.
