In celebration, of its eighth year of publication, the latest issue of My Hero Academia dropped this week with a glorious, red-themed king-sized cover depicting all the heroes, big and small, who have fought to defend humanity against the worst threats of All For One and other villains. The cover has gotten a lot of praise from fans, and sparked quite a few fan theories in the process.
While eight years is relatively «young» for a series in a manga industry that includes such long-term stalwarts as One Piece, Dragon Ball, Bleach, and Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, My Hero Academia has proven it deserves mention, despite its youth, as being among the best manga in history. During its publication, it has not only shown that it has everything it takes to challenge and replace the industry's longest-running series, but it has also spawned a plethora of manga copycat stories.
