An artist has recently decided to create some Pokémon fan art, taking inspiration from some of Elden Ring's most menacing enemy types. The latest FromSoftware release has been the subject of countless pieces of online content over the past few weeks, with fan artists taking playful jabs at Elden Ring's enemies, quest design, open-world structure, and unique art style.
At first glance, Elden Ring and Pokémon are about as different as two video games can be. The Pokémon franchise is aimed at a more casual audience, while FromSoftware offers significantly more challenging, intense, and mature experiences. One of the most memorable and terrifying aspects of Elden Ring, for many players, is its wide cast of unique and powerful enemies. Some of these antagonistic NPCs are bosses with fleshed-out backstories, dutiful soldiers, or wizened sorcerers, while others are simply rabid creatures roaming the game's massive open world. Many of these creatures, particularly in the opening areas of the game, appear to be little more than standard wolves, dogs, rams, etc., but things get a little stranger as players delve deeper into the map. Once players venture into Elden Ring's hellish Caelid region, for example, many of the game's grounded enemy types take on larger, stronger, more horrifying forms.

While Elden Ring can be much more intimidating than Pokémon, artist bromojumbo mashed the two up anyway. As noticed by Game Rant, bromojumbo shared two illustrations depicting slightly more FromSoftware-esque versions of the Pokémon Ursaring and Corviknight, along with both Tyrunt and Tyrantrum.
