Arguably even more successful than the film was star Jack Black‘s song “Peaches,” a highlight that instantly went viral online. Last night, lucky fans got to hear the song like never before, performed live at The Game Awards‘ 10-year anniversary concert.
The one-night-only concert celebrated the 10-year anniversary of The Game Awards with the fantastical musical talent that goes into gaming. The event featured The Games Award Orchestra conducted by Grammy-winning and BAFTA-and Emmy-nominated Lorne Balfe, the composer behind the music featured across a wide variety of games including Assassin’s Creed and Call of Duty, as well as numerous films and television series.
Black was one of the special guests of the night, singing his hit song that reached number 56 on Billboard’s Top 100 chart, and became a sensation online, where the video was shared over and over again.
