As many of us are no doubt aware, there's a very annoying exploit in the Overwatch 2 map Midtown that lets you contest the payload while remaining completely out of sight. However, some players have found a workaround for this - and it involves intentionally playing the game with worse graphics.
According to players on PC, reducing Overwatch 2's graphics quality actually removes the strategically placed bush that some players hide in to contest the payload. This makes it impossible for them to stay hidden from the opposing team, making it much easier for you to keep enemies off the payload and force them back into the action.

The bush in question is found just before the second point in Midtown, making it great as a last-ditch attempt to stop the other team from reaching another checkpoint. It works by getting a shorter character - typically Lucio in most examples I've seen - to crouch in the bush. This hides their character model completely, making it hard for enemies to see who's contesting the point.
However, according to PC players, this is where having a worse setup comes in handy.
"I'm surprised not a single person on your team had low graphics settings," says Reddit user MachiavelliCF, responding to a player complaining about losing a match to the exploit. "If model detail is set to low, a lot of decorative things disappear, including those bushes."
They shared proof of this elsewhere in the thread, showing that no one in their match would be able to use this hiding spot.
As for us lot on console, we'll just have to remain vigilant. If you can't for the life of you spot who's contesting the point, always shoot at the bush for good
