Octopath Traveler II is here, bringing some traditional, turn-based RPG adventuring to PS5 and PS4. Of course, the first Octopath Traveler is nowhere to be seen on PlayStation platforms — which makes the arrival of this sequel a bit weird — but the good news is that the two titles boast separate stories and characters.
It also helps that this follow-up is a very, very good game. We awarded the gorgeous release an 'excellent' 9/10 in our Octopath Traveler II PS5 review — and regular readers will know that score doesn't come around often. We called it «a breath-taking work of art, filled to the brim with story and adventure, bolstered by a cast of incredible characters who will leave you wanting more at every turn.»
