A brand-new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 trailer, featuring Saturday Night Live alumnus Pete Davidson, teases the first-person shooter title's impending reveal. The upcoming game will be a follow-up to 2019's Modern Warfare, which itself was a reboot of Infinity Ward's beloved modern-day sub-series. Fan-favorite characters like Ghost and Soap return in Modern Warfare 2, but it looks like Pete Davidson will also answer the Call of Duty.
2019's Call of Duty: Modern Warfare brought the series back to a realistic modern setting with a plot that concerns a deadly terrorist group and a Russian invasion of the fictional country Urzikstan. The game's single-player campaignbrought back familiar faces from the original Modern Warfare trilogy, including Captain John Price and Kyle «Gaz» Garrick. Meanwhile, the upcoming Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will bring back even more iconic soldiers like Simon «Ghost» Riley and John «Soap» MacTavish. Outside of its campaign, Modern Warfare also introduced a cooperative Special Ops mode on top of the series' staple competitive multiplayer. CoD: Modern Warfare 2 will release in October, and fans will soon get a brand-new look at the upcoming sequel.

Actor and comedian Pete Davidson stars in a hilarious new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 trailer posted to YouTube by Call of Duty. The live-acton video sees the Saturday Night Live and King of Staten Island star riding into combat in a troop transport truck. While his fellow soldiers are calm and collected, Davidson rambles on about bringing snacks for the ride and ignoring his military training. Finally, Davidson's exasperated squad decides to leave him behind in the truck.
