Persona 5 fans have moved on from asking it to be ported to the Switch and are now jokingly requesting for it to come to the 3DS. At least, we hope they're joking.
Yesterday, Nintendo announced as part of its third-party showcase that Persona 5 Royale, Persona 4 Golden, and Person 3 Portable would all be making their way to the Switch over the next year, starting with Persona 5 Royale in October. This was absolutely a huge deal, as Persona fans have been asking for Persona 5 specifically to be ported to the Switch ever since it first released, only to be met with years of silence and the occasional spin-off game coming their way instead.

Of course, now that Persona 5 is coming to the Switch, all of those fans asking for it to be ported over no longer have anything to wish for, right? Well, Twitter account Persona5on3DS seems to disagree, as it's actively been asking for the game to be ported over to the 3DS and seems to be doubling down now that the Switch port has been revealed.
Following the announcement that Persona 5 would be coming to the Switch, Persona5on3DS shared this statement, "We know that the Nintendo 3DS family of systems is a very special console for all of you, a revolutionary machine that can play games in 3D without the need of 3D glasses! And the possibility of bringing that experience to the world of Persona 5 is something absolutely unique and exciting and we can't wait to give all of you, Persona 5 3DS fans that experience, a multi-million dollar production that will change the world. We even hired Jared Leto from Morbius to advertise the game and he did a great job at it! Jaded Leto is very cool"
