The long-awaited patch fixes a lot of bugs in Payday 3, but there's more still to be done.

Payday 3 has had a rocky start since it released on September 18, but the long-awaited first patch has finally arrived. Patch 1.0.1 dropped today with a 2GB update across all platforms, fixing a lot of the game's technical issues.
The patch is packed full of fixes for minor issues that have nevertheless plagued players, which you can find listed in full below. One of the major fixes players will be happy about is that all exclusive rewards including pre-order bonuses and platform-specific items have now been allocated correctly. The one exception is the weapon charm and death wish reward from a Payday 2 cross promotion, which Starbreeze Studios says it hopes to fix by the next patch.

The developers behind Payday 3 have apologized multiple times for the game's messy launch, and the patch is a first step towards fixing its issues--and its reputation with players.
