Palia by Singularity 6 is now out on Nintendo Switch! Am I excited? Yes! Want to talk about a new cozy game to play wherever you go, but more importantly, when you are settling in and winding down for the night? Palia is that game. So, with its release on Nintendo Switch, I thought I’d share some early game wisdom, my list of “To-Do's,” to help you out when you start. Ready to get a jump on your cozy life, well, let me help you.
One of the questions I often see from new players is, “Can we only get a glider by buying it?” I understand this thought, and I thought the same when the PC beta first launched, and people glided around. If you are indeed like me, you might start exploring and gathering right from the start instead of doing some of the quests. The quest you want to complete is called “Like a Bird”. Gathering materials will come in handy beforehand since you will need them for your favorite firework-making NPC Najuma to build you one.
Gardening for me has been a great way to make money. The first thing I did after getting all my tools was plant some fields and farm. You see, there is a thing called a seed collector you get at level 2 gardening. You’ll never have to rebuy seeds! I just plant crops, take a portion of the harvest, make seeds, and sell the rest. Eventually, getting the recipe to make fertilizer will also come in handy; this way you can grow better crops. Are there better methods to make money and buy more housing plots, recipes, and all the other goodies? Probably, but this is my chosen method, and I hope it helps you out at the start. Don’t forget to upgrade your watering can. It makes watering the plants easy in the long run.
