Following his last round of buffs that resulted in utter dominance, Overwatch 2’s latest balance patch tones down Mauga. His base health has increased from 250 to 300, but his base armor drops from 250 to 200. The ammo from Incendiary and Volatile Chainguns is also reduced from 350 to 300, while Cardiac Overdrive now grants 60 percent lifesteal with a 12-second cooldown.
Cage Fight reloads the Chainguns at the start but no longer grants infinite ammo. Finally, the overhealth conversion rate from Berserker has dropped from 60 to 50 percent. Other changes with the patch include Orisa’s Augmented Fusion Driver having its falloff damage penalty removed, Illari receiving buffs to her Captive Sun Ultimate, and Lifeweaver’s Petal Platform now stopping piercing projectiles.
Also, those terrorized by Roadhog in lower ranks can rest easy – Take a Breather now restores 450 HP instead of 500 and has a 1.5-second cooldown. Check out some of the patch notes below and full details here.
