In a lengthy newsletter by the Outriders' community manager, information regarding the upcoming Worldslayer expansion has been brought to light. The news includes the expected release date and time and includes a detailed summary of Outriders's new content and patch changes, ranging from balance adjustments to planned quality of life improvements.
Outriders has been occupying a small space in the looter-shooter genre for a little over a year now, having gone through a rather rough launch and a subsequent struggle to retain players. Outriders was developed by People Can Fly, the Polish studio behind much of theGears of War series along with 2011's chaotic and successful Bulletstorm first-person shooter. People Can Fly has pushed a number of updates since release in order to address some of these issues, with more changes coming with Worldslayer.
