Orphan co-stars Isabelle Fuhrman and Peter Sarsgaard reunite in a sweet image shared to Instagram. Orphan released back in 2009 and told the story of a young girl named Esther who was adopted by a couple following the loss of their unborn child. Things take a turn, however, as it's later revealed that Esther (whose real name is Leena) is actually a 33-year old woman with a condition that stunts her growth, meaning she physically resembles a 9-year old girl. Fuhrman starred as Esther, with Sarsgaard starring as her adoptive father, John. The film also saw Hawkeye's Vera Farmiga star as Esther's adoptive mother Kate.
Over the years, Orphan has garnered somewhat of a cult following, with many feeling that the film's unique and down-right bizarre plot was more than worthy of receiving the prequel treatment. For a while, an Orphan follow-up seemed to be off-the-table, until 2020 brought the announcement that Fuhrman would be returning to reprise her role in Orphan: First Kill. Detailssurrounding the highly anticipated sequel have been few and far between so far, with an exact date for the film's theatrical release also currently unconfirmed at this stage.

Now, in a sweet call-back to the first film, Fuhrman has shared a photo of her recent reunion with her Orphan co-star Sarsgaard. Furhman shared two images cropped side-by-side, one of which looks to be from the set of Orphan, while the other is a more recent photo of the pair sharing a sweet embrace and looking incredibly happy to be reunited. Referencing the film's twist, Furhman joked "Who looks older now?" in the caption. Check out Furhman's post below.
