Hit Hulu mystery-comedy series Only Murders in the Building has been renewed for season 3 while season 2 is still underway on the streaming service. The shows stars Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez as three true-crime-obsessed strangers who set out to solve a murder in their apartment building. After a very well-received freshman run last year, Only Murders in the Building season 2 began airing on June 28.
After season 1 ended with semi-retired actor Charles-Haden Savage (Martin), Broadway director Oliver Putnam (Short), and aspiring artist Mabel Mora (Gomez) framed for the murder of The Arconia apartment building's board president Bunny Folger (Jayne Houdyshell), Only Murders in the Building season 2 sees the trio reunite to solve Bunny's murder, despite warnings from the authorities. So far, only a handful of episodes from the new season have arrived on Hulu, but the overall critical consensus remains high. On top of that, Only Murders in the Building season 1 already delivered one of the best audiences for a Hulu original. Now, it has been confirmed that the misadventures of Charles, Oliver, and Mabel will continue.
