Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event: After the first Galaxy Unpacked event of 2022 unveiling the Galaxy S22 series and Galaxy Tab S8 series earlier in the year, Samsung is now set to unveil the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 foldable later today. The Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 will succeed the Fold 3 and Flip 3 models from last year. Along with these phones, Samsung will also be unveiling the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro and the Galaxy Watch 5. These products will be unveiled globally at the same time.
For those who are interested in these devices, Samsung will host a livestream event later today. The livestream event will begin at 6:30 PM later in the evening and you will be able to catch it live at Samsung's YouTube channel, social media channels, and the Samsung Newsroom. The leaks have revealed both the Flip 4 and Fold 4 handsets in all their glory. The leaked renders have show the Galaxy Z Flip 4 as a mild update over the Z Flip 3 in terms of design. It is likely to have the same clamshell design with a small Cover Display that is now rumoured to let you control basic connectivity settings. The phone could get a bigger 3700mAh battery and may use the newer Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. The charging tech is also said to be upgraded to 25W wired from the previous 15W wired charging.
On the other hand, the Galaxy Z Fold 4 will have the overall same design with the same camera hump, but the aspect ratio will be modified to have a more conventional layout for the Cover Display.
