The Blasphemous 2 Limited Collector's Edition arrives in April, but preorders are open now.
By Jon Bitner on
Blasphemous 2 was one of the best metroidvanias of 2023 thanks to its bleak, well-realized world, haunting enemies, and methodical combat system. It plays like a mix of Castlevania and Dark Souls. Featuring a sprawling map filled with secrets and challenging bosses, Blasphemous 2 offers roughly twenty hours worth of satisfying content. The stellar sequel released in both physical and digital formats last summer, but now fans have a chance to get a limited collector's edition on PS5 and Nintendo Switch. Blasphemous 2's $100 collector's edition releases April 30, and preorders are live now.
The Blasphemous 2 Limited Collector's Edition is available for Switch and PS5. Along with the base game, this version includes a bunch of additional content. Here's what you'll get with your purchase.
There are currently no preorder bonuses for the upcoming edition, but the new collectibles are probably enough to entice big fans of Blasphemous 2.
Our Blasphemous 2 review gave it a resounding 9/10, praising its improvements over the original along with its brooding art style.
«Blasphemous 2 follows in the footsteps of its predecessor, mixing its unique and harrowing aesthetic with a gameplay amalgam of Metroidvanias and Souls-likes,» wrote critic Richard Wakeling. «Where the first game faltered, however, its sequel makes significant improvements, resulting in a thrilling adventure that doesn't run out of steam.»
