Old School RuneScape's Competitive Mode Returns with Leagues V: Raging Echoes
Jagex has rolled out a new event for Old School RuneScape in Leagues V: Raging Echoes. The event, which runs through January 22, 2025, brings the venerable MMORPG’s competitive mode back with reworked mechanics and a focus on skilled gameplay.
Leagues V: Raging Echoes will see players start fresh new characters, tackle quests, earn points, and unlock relics in order to progress to new regions with even more difficult challenges to tackle.
Fan favorite features such as Area Locking are now permanent fixtures of Leagues and Theorycrafting and Enhanced Bosses make a return as well. Combat Mastery is a new system being introduced with this event, giving players more control over battle buffs and boosts in combat when leveraged alongside the game’s Relic system.
Jagex promises the event will offer players huge XP rewards and new twists on Old School RuneScape’s gameplay. A special Membership package is also available, offering players access to Members content at a discounted price for the duration of the Leagues V: Raging Echoes event. This package is available to both new and returning players.
Old School RuneScape is available now on PC and Mac desktop platforms as well as Android and iOS on mobile devices.
