Obi-Wan Kenobi actress Moses Ingram has explained what it is that sets her character, Reva Sevander, apart from Darth Vader. Charting the gap between Star Wars Episode III and IV, the new Disney+ series sees Ewan McGregor reprise his role as the titular Jedi Master 10 years after the events of Order 66. While living in hiding on Tatooine and watching over a young Luke Skywalker, Kenobi is drawn into action once more when faced with a mission that thrusts him back into the galaxy at large. McGregor’s prequel co-star, Hayden Christensen, has also returned to play Darth Vader for the limited series.
Throughout the series, Kenobi and his fellow remaining Jedi are being hunted by the Imperial Inquisitors, an order of force-sensitive villains who first made their debut in the animated Star Wars: Rebels series. Making the leap from animation to live-action for the first time is the leader of the Inquisitors, the Grand Inquisitor (played by Rupert Friend), as well as the Fifth Brother (played by Sung Kang). The first two episodes of Obi-Wan Kenobi, which recently hit the Disney+ streaming service, also introduced Ingram’s Reva Sevander, or the Third Sister, as another member of the Inquisition and one who is doggedly fixated on finding Kenobi and delivering him to Lord Vader.

Recently Ingram spoke with Supanova Comic-Con and Gaming about her role in the new show and what it was that set her character apart from the iconic Darth Vader. Suggesting that Vader struggles with doubt because he “knows that he was taught by the best,” Ingram theorizes that her own character operates without any such impediments and “believes that she’s the best.” Check out her full comments below:
