New concept art for Obi-Wan Kenobi gives a closer look at the series, including stormtroopers and Imperial ships. After more than 15 years since last playing Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi in Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith, Ewan McGregor is set to reprise the role once more in Disney+'s upcoming limited series, Obi-Wan Kenobi. The series picks up 10 years after the events of Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith and Anakin's tragic evolution into Darth Vader, finding Kenobi on Tatooine watching over a young Luke Skywalker.
An initial trailer for the series, which was released several weeks ago, gave viewers their first proper look at McGregor's older Obi-Wan Kenobi and teased new villains to contend with as well as another showdown with Darth Vader. In addition to McGregor, Obi-Wan Kenobi sees the return of Anakin actor Hayden Christensen, Owen Lars actor Joel Edgerton, and Beru Lars actor Bonnie Piesse. Newcomers to the Star Wars universe include Kumail Nanjiani, Rupert Friend, Maya Erskine, Benny Safdie, Sung Kang, and Moses Ingram, among others.
