Lucasfilm has celebrated Star Wars Day 2022 with the full Obi-Wan Kenobi trailer, and here's a breakdown of its biggest story and character reveals. Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christensen are due to return in the upcoming Obi-Wan Kenobi series, set during the Dark Times of the Empire's reign. It seems Obi-Wan's self-imposed exile to Tatooine was nowhere near as monotonous as had previously been believed, with Star Wars' Inquisitors, who report to Darth Vader, heading to the desert world.
The Disney+ TV show's premise appears to be a simple: a galactic game of cat-and-mouse, as Obi-Wan desperately attempts to stay alive as the forces against him gather. Worse still, of course, he can't risk the Empire getting too close to Owen Lars and discovering the young Luke Skywalker, Anakin's son, who Obi-Wan believes to be the galaxy's last hope. Somehow Obi-Wan must find a way to shake off his pursuers and return to a life of solitude, hopefully finding a way to persuade Owen to let him train Luke.
