Now that most players who had started Elden Ring months ago have finished its story, players have enjoyed finding creative builds to experiment with in the game’s PvP system. PvP is where a lot of FromSoftware games find their longevity as players can test their combat expertise against other players through invasions, or help others best particularly difficult bosses through cooperative summons.
There are different metas all the time for what is the most effective build in Elden Ring, such as what is used in many speedrun categories. However, a lot of Elden Ring’s fun as an action RPG comes from its role-playing. Elden Ring fans have created custom characters such as Wolverine, Voldemort, or even Willem Dafoe. Recently, two players have faced one another while role-playing as two popular characters from two of the most popular fantasy and science-fiction franchises today: Obi-Wan Kenobi and Doctor Strange.
