The new No Man's Sky Polestar expedition takes a small group of players and places them onto a broken space freighter, where they must work together to make repairs and solve its mysteries. Space explorers have received a substantial amount of new No Man's Sky content since the game was released six years ago. Cross-play and improved multiplayer mechanics have made exploring the game's universe with a friend a much smoother experience than when the game first launched. And after the developer dropped their 20th major update for the game, titled Endurance, players have even more to enjoy.
Space freighters were first introduced in the game's Foundation update but have since seen a significant overhaul in the latest free Endurance update. Players flying through the game's now more varied and colorful cosmos can obtain and summon their own space freighter. The huge vessels give players a place to dock their many ships, store items and gear, and even build their own fleets to send out on missions. The latest update adds many customizable options for freighters, including buildable greenrooms, exterior catwalks, and building options so players can marvel at the beautiful cosmos from outside of No Man's Sky's now highly customizable flying fortresses. Now the latest expedition gives players a mystery to solve after being transported to a broken freighter needing some repairs.
