Warning! Spoilers ahead for Future State: Gotham #11
In DC Comics, Nightwing has finally figured out two of the biggest mysteries in Future State: Gotham. Set in a possible future where Gotham has become even darker as a fascist state policed by the organization known as the Magistrate, Dick Grayson has been leading a resistance movement of what remains of the Bat-Family along with some new allies. However, there have been notable figures who have gone missing: Bruce Wayne's Batman and his son Damian. While those who have read DC's Future State are aware of what happened to Batman, the whereabouts of Damian Wayne's Robin have been a huge question mark for Gotham's heroes and readers alike. Now, it seems Nightwing has cracked the code in the latest issue of Future State: Gotham.
In DC's Future State, it was revealed that the original Batman was attacked by the Magistrate early in their takeover, resulting in an opportunity for Bruce Wayne to fake his death so he could work in the shadows against them as the Dark Detective. However, the truth about Bruce's «demise» is not widely known and it's generally assumed by his own Bat-Family that he did indeed die. However, no one knows what happened to his son Damian Wayne who had been the current Robin.
