Warning! Spoilers ahead for Nightwing #90
In the latest issue of Nightwing, it's confirmed that there's one crime against superheroes DC villains should never attempt: hurting Batman's family of vigilantes. Whether it's Alfred, Barbara Gordon, or Dick Grayson himself, a villain always faces a reckoning if they manage to harm (or even kill) a member of the Bat-Family. Likewise, this sentiment isn't limited to other Bat-Family members seeking vengeance for one of their own. The Flash confirms in this new issue that the entire superhero community gets involved as well.
In previous issues of Nightwing, Dick Grayson has made it his public mission to serve as Blüdhaven's safety net, using his newly inherited billions to help the least fortunate in his city. However, Blüdhaven's biggest criminals such as Blockbuster would rather keep the city as it is. As such, a rather large bounty has been placed on Grayson's head and there have already been attempts on his life, resulting in his superhero family and friends working to keep him safe and helping take down would-be assassins.

However, the new Nightwing #90 from Tom Taylor and Geraldo Borges reveals Blockbuster has grown desperate, paying a massive amount of money to hire La Agente Fúnebre. Following the explosion of his apartment building, Wally West's Flash has come to Blüdhaven to watch Dick's back. However, one of Fúnbre's agents was sent to kidnap Barbara Gordon to draw Dick out and it's none other than KGBeast, the Rusian mercenary who shot Nightwing in the head a few years ago and gave him temporary amnesia.
