Nightwing May Be Heading for His Own 'I Am Iron Man' Moment

In a new preview for DC Comics' Nightwing, Dick Grayson's enemies may force him to be like Marvel's Iron Man. Ever since Grayson announced his intentions to use his recently inherited billions to be a safety net for his city and help those in need, a massive target has been put on his back. Blüdhaven's darkest and most corrupt members have been looking to take him out, giving Nightwing zero protection even when he takes his mask off. As such, he may soon have to make a major decision.
Previous issues of Nightwing have already seen Dick Grayson targeted a handful of times by Blockbuster (Blüdhaven's biggest crime boss). Not only was there an attempt to steal his dog Haley, but shooters were dealt with by Nightwing's fellow Titans when Dick broke ground on the Alfred Pennyworth Foundation. Now, it seems as though Blockbuster is taking more drastic measures which may change Dick's life forever, even if they don't end it.

In the new preview for Nightwing #90, Blockbuster has chosen to hire La Agente Fúnebre, a very expensive organization that has guaranteed to kill Dick Grayson by blowing up his entire apartment building. However, Dick Grayson thankfully has a mole inside Blockbuster's inner circle: his half-sister and Mayor of Blüdhaven, Melinda Zucco. Getting a heads-up, Dick goes door to door telling his neighbors to evacuate, though he does note that he can't be seen doing much more without raising suspicions, switching into costume to help one resident.
