Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 Delayed, New Release Date Set
The upcoming fighter has been delayed, developer Ludosity and Fair Play Labs have announced.
Originally set to release on November 3, 2023, the Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 delay sees the game’s digital release pushed back to November 7, 2023. Physical copies of the game will see a bit of a longer delay, and will launch on December 1, 2023.
According to Ludosity in a statement on Twitter, the cause for the delay is simply to let the team “put the finishing touches” on the game. In an effort to appease fans on the move, a free in-game costume will be given out to those who purchase the digital version during its first week.
“Our release date will be moving slightly as the team looks to put the finishing touches on Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2,” reads an official statement from the team behind the game. “As a special bonus, Patrick’s Elastic Waistband costume will now be available to all digital purchases made during the first week of launch from November 7-14.”
When it launches, Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 will have a single-player campaign that focuses on players having to stop Danny Phantom villain Vlad Plasmius from trying to conquer the Nickelodeon universe.
The original Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl released in 2021, and featured 25 playable characters in total by the end of its time being updated. It’s currently unclear whether or not every character will be returning for the sequel, but the trailer does show many that were in the original.
