Nicolas Cage is coming to Dead By Daylight – yes, you read that right. The popular Hollywood actor is doing a video game project for the first time, and he’s coming to the asymmetrical multiplayer horror game first. The chapter featuring him launches on 25th July 2023 across PC and consoles.

Appearing on stage during Summer Game Fest, Nic Cage explained a little bit of why he’s doing this video game in particular – he’s just a fan of horror movies in general.

But who is he playing? Is he going to be one of the monsters or something? No, Nic Cage is playing as… Nic Cage! A Hollywood-ified version of himself who is dragged into the horror, thinking he’s heading to a film shoot, only to wake up in the fog. That’s right, he’s going to be on the team of survivors.

All players will be able to get him when the chapter launches on 25th July, but PC players will be able to get an early look by downloading the public test builds of the game.
