The next entry in the Star Wars Jedi series is apparently already in the works, judging from a recent job ad that was discovered online.
The new job ad from Respawn Entertainment is for a Principal Game Writer that embraces the studio's philosophy to help them create an "incredible Star Wars experience for our players in a fun, third-person action-adventure setting," a description that leaves very little doubt about the game the new Principal Game Writer will be working on.
Given the ending of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, and the success the game enjoyed on the market when it launched back in April, it is not surprising to learn that work is already underway on its successor. As the second entry in the series expanded the gameplay formula of the first game in every possible way, it will be very interesting to see what the third game will do to bring the franchise forward.
The aforementioned Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is now available on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S worldwide. You can learn more about the game by checking out Kai's review.
While Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order was a surprise journey when it was first released, the time spent apart hasn’t made Cal Kestis’ adventures any less enjoyable. It may be difficult to give Jedi: Survivor full marks for its individuality, but compared to the predecessor focused on Cal’s time as a Jedi Padawan, each title can stand up on its own merits, and Jedi: Survivor polishes up much of the experience as it propels the narrative ever forward on Cal Kestis’ journey to Tanalorr.
