New World Season 1 Fellowship and Fire Is Out Now
Following a one-week delay from its original launch date of March 28th, fantasy MMORPG New World just received the update that adds the game's first season (Fellowship and Fire).
The following in-game activities will reward New World players with season pass XP, whether they are on the free track or the premium track:

Outpost Rush
PvP Arenas
War
Invasions
PvP kills
Corruption Breaches
Quests
Faction Missions
Aptitude Levels
Trials
Earning level XP
An even better way to level up fast in the season pass will be through the new Journey system, which sends players to tackle various challenges all across Aeternum, or through the mini-objectives available on the Activity Card.
Storywise, the Fellowship and Fire season introduces the elite mercenary squad called Silver Crows, led by recurring NPC Grace O’Malley. Freshly founded, the Silver Crows have to protect their first client Skye the Spear-daughter, defeat a fearsome Warlock and the Varangian Horde in the brand new Expedition (New World's version of dungeons), Empyrean Forge.
This level 60 Expedition is set in the Great Cleave region, and it's the site of a massive forge once used by the Ancients to craft all manners of constructs and war machines. The Empyrean Forge was abandoned following the Ancients' demise, but at some point, the mage Myrddin went in to conduct various experiments that led him to open portals to various dimensions, which is why you can expect to find fire elementals and other primordial beings in there.
Venturing into the Expedition Forge is the only way New World players have to unlock the new Fire Storm Heartrune, which conjures a fire tornado that damages everything in its trajectory.
