New Toys and Consumables on the Patch 11.0.5 20th Anniversary PTR
New toys and consumables celebrating World of Warcraft's 20th Anniversary have been discovered on the Patch 11.0.5 PTR, including the return of the famous Mohawk Grenade!
Based on the video reveal, these items may be purchased with Timewarped Badges, however this is unconfirmed, as the official blog also cites a new Bronze Celebration Token currency used to purchase new items like the updated tier sets.
Practice Ravager
Replicating the Bladestorm-like animation of the Ravager from Scarlet Monastery, one of the more popular weapons of Vanilla WoW, its unique effect was a very powerful source of area of effect damage that was otherwise much more limited in early versions of the game, used even at maximum level due to its deceptively high damage potential. Removed in Patch 5.0.4, wherein the original four Scarlet Monastery instances were updated and combined into The Scarlet Halls and Scarlet Monastery, the The Gleaming Ravager dropped in its place, but lacked the iconic spinning effect.
Blades of Light!
While the original instances and the Ravager dropped inside became obtainable again in Patch 10.1.7, the chance on hit effect is now limited to level 49 or below and the weapon itself fails to keep up with modern standards, making this toy a much more preferred way of reliving the original spin-to-win.
Coldflame Ring
Sharing a name with several other items coming during the anniversary event, this toy allows players to equip a set of Blizzard Bling, an in-game representation of the physical 5-year sword, 10-year shield, and 20-year helmet given to employees in honor of their service with the studio.
The mark of a true veteran.
The Coldflame's Edge, Coldflame Edged Crest, and Coldflame Winged Crown are also obtainable as normal cosmetic items during the event, allowing players to transmog them directly.
