There are plenty of quests to discover in and while it can be fun to walk around a new location and pick up various missions like a to-do list, this mod ensures that the log that tracks all of them never gets too overwhelming. Much like many of Bethesda's other RPGs, can often feel like jumping in the deep end as the player's arrival upon New Atlantis greets them with dozens of new objectives to complete both in the city and on distant planets. It can become a bit much, especially at such an early stage.
Over on Nexus Mods, creator agd25 shared their «Take You Time» mod which very simply tweaks the way players acquire their quests, meaning thateach new mission is manually accepted before it's added to the log. Once installed, the mod ensures that the first step of a quest, which usually requires users to simply talk to an NPC, no longer displays so the objectives are only added to the menu once players actually make contact with the involved character and accept their request. This way, the logbook doesn't become cluttered and bogged down with too many mundane sidequests.
There are so many quests in Starfield, and although some are exceptional, some of the game's quests are abysmal and should be avoided at all costs.
Much like the rest of, the game's quests can often be summarized with the expression «Quantity over Quality.» Many have already criticized Bethesda's RPG for including too much filler content rather than honing in on the more high-quality moments of the narrative. The result is a game that feels stuffed with content but none of it is especially interesting or unique because it lacks a sense of curation.
The same argument can be made for 's scale which is massive; the game features 1,000 planets for players to travel to and discover and yet upon arriving at them, it becomes clear that there's not all that much to do.
