A brand-new Remnant 2 update has been rolled for both PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series, packing numerous balance changes, fixes, and improvements.
The new console-specific patches are available for download now and should be downloaded automatically to your console if this feature has been enabled. If not, it's also possible to download the patch manually through the game update settings. "This is the first major update intended to address many of the bigger issues right now, but there will be more updates to come – including an additional update we’re planning to release later this week that will address balance changes, bug fixes, and quality of life improvements", the development team writes.
The new patch comes with performance improvements and aims to resolve several crashing issues on both platforms. In addition, on Xbox, the patch improves hitching. Although the PS5 and Xbox patches both pack plenty of bug fixes and improvements, the team has promised yet another patch for Xbox players. This upcoming patch is planned to be released later this week and will include additional balance changes, bug fixes, and quality-of-life improvements that have already been included in the PS5 patch.
