Blizzard recently posted an article going in-depth with Lifeweaver's full kit and character. He will be available with the launch of Season 4 on April 11th, and will also be available to play for free in a limited time game mode called B.O.B. and Weave. Lifeweaver is a witty and kind nature lover from Thailand. He uses advanced biolight technology for his abilities, and was a key detail in the design of his healing and abilities.
Gameplay HealingLifeweaver has two weapons, a healing weapon and a damage weapon. He heals by charging a flower and then sends it to an ally, and the longer he charges it the more healing it provides. Healing Blossom is soft target-based, like Brigitte's Armor Packs, so you don't need good aim to heal effectively. Blizzard made Lifeweaver's healing work like this because they wanted to make him an accessible hero.
DamageLifeweaver's second weapon is his Thorn Volley. Thorn Volley is a projectile weapon, and is a strong weapon for a Support hero. It's mainly intended to be used as a form of defense. Lifeweaver can't heal while using his Thorn Volley, since it's a different weapon, similar to Mercy's staff and gun.
Petal Platform & Rejuvenating DashPetal Platform is Lifeweaver's secondary fire. It is a destructible piece of terrain, with 400 HP. Lifeweaver can summon the Petal Platform, and stepping on it causes it to elevate, whether Lifeweaver steps on it, or an ally, or an enemy. It can currently be used to escape powerful abilities like Zarya's Graviton Surge. You can also launch yourself even higher in the air by timing a jump right as the Petal Platform reaches maximum height, allowing you to reach high ground that Petal Platform may not quite reach. Rejuvenating Dash is a short
