With July just around the corner, Hulu is presenting its lineup of TV shows and movies heading to the platform next month. From the first day of July, viewers can look forward to a curated selection of titles set to debut throughout the month, offering a wide range of entertainment choices for all tastes.
Good news everyone! The once-unthinkable Season 11 premiere of Futurama is coming to Hulu on July 24. It's been a long time since Philip J. Fry, a pizza delivery boy, was accidentally frozen in 1999 and thawed out on New Year’s Eve 2999. The highly anticipated next season will span 20 episodes divided into two parts, and a release promises «new viewers will be able to pick up the series from here, while longtime fans will recognize payoffs to decadeslong mysteries--including developments in the epic love story of Fry and Leela, the mysterious contents of Nibbler's litter box, the secret history evil robot Santa, and the whereabouts of Kif and Amy's tadpoles. Meanwhile there's a whole new pandemic in town as the crew explores the future of vaccines, bitcoin, cancel culture and streaming TV.»
To tide you over until the animated dystopian future comedy drops, right on July 1, Hulu will be getting a decidedly less comedic take on the future dystopia--Alien, Aliens, Alien 3, and Alien Resurrection are all coming to the platform at the start of the month. With FX's Alien TV Series getting underway this year--though likely delayed by the WGA strike--there's plenty of time to catch up.
Below is a list of all the content coming to Hulu in July.
