Fortnite is no stranger to crossovers. Most recently, Epic Games' battle royale is adding Ezio and Eivor – two fan-favorite protagonists from the Assassin's Creed franchise – into the game starting on April 7th. It's been a busy year for Fortnite, as the game continues to add several pop-culture icons such as Marvel's Doctor Strange, and may seek to add even more in 2022.
There is little doubt Epic Games has done a wondrous job in maintainingFortnite since the game became a staggering success, and its numerous well-implemented crossovers have played a key role in making Epic Games into a business worth 8 billion dollars. Rumors are circling on social media that a new collaboration with Disney may be in the works, and that the new addition to the game might just come from a galaxy far, far away.

According to a tweet by iFireMonkey, and gleamed from the State of Unreal event hosted today by Epic Games where it launched Unreal Engine 5, the second monitor showed a Fortnite game folder hinting at its possible future crossovers, with mentions of Family Guy, Doom, Indiana Jones, and even the Dark Lord of the Sith, Darth Vader.
This would hardly be the first time Fortnite has had a collaboration with the Star Wars franchise, as the game famously featured Emperor Palpatine's return during a limited Star Wars Fortnite event that premiered shortly before The Rise of Skywalker. Since then, Epic Games has added plenty of Star Wars content to the game, with the most recent Fortnite inclusions being Fennec Shand and the towering Wookiee Krrsantan from the Book of Boba Fett.
