Star Wars: The Force Unleashed is now available on the Nintendo Switch, and fans who were around the late '00s might recognize this version of the game as it's a port of the Wii version of The Force Unleashed. This means that the cheat codes from the Wii version still function in the Switch version of The Force Unleashed, with the added bonus of being able to use the Switch's keyboard function to quickly type out the codes, rather than needing to go through every letter/number in order.
The Force Unleashed is set between the two original Star Wars trilogies. The player takes on the role of Starkiller, the secret Sith apprentice of Darth Vader, who is being trained as part of a plot to overthrow Emperor Palpatine. Starkiller is dispatched on secret missions throughout the galaxy to deal with Darth Vader's enemies and weaken Palpatine's position. However, it soon becomes apparent that a resistance movement is forming against the Empire, and Starkiller must choose whether to aid the fledgling Rebel Alliance or remain loyal to his master. Starkiller's place in Star Wars canon is questionable, following Disney's ownership of the franchise, but he once had an important role in the story.
