Bandai Namco and FromSoftware are set to release Elden Ring in days and fans of the developer continue to receive new teaser videos, images, and bits of information. FromSoftware has released its latest hints for what Elden Ring players can expect from the game, showing off a portal and some weird creatures.
The Elden Ring Twitter account recently shared two new screenshots that tease unconfirmed aspects of the game. The first of the images centers on a heavy armor-clad Tarnished reaching one arm into a circular hole in a gray and blue shrine. Swirling within the circle is a purple portal that players will discover along their adventure in the realm of the Lands Between.

It's currently unclear what the portal in the first image is used for, but players may use it to gain stronger powers, traverse Elden Ring's open world, or solve puzzles. Because the Tarnished is shown reaching into the portal, it is likely that interacting with shrines like this in Elden Ring serves a useful purpose. Within the portal is a series of specs that may be constellations possibly referencing a character called General Radahn, who is the conqueror of the stars, or the Elden Ring itself, which commanded the stars according to the game's lore.
The Tarnished isn't featured in the second image shared by the Elden Ring Twitter account as the screenshot focuses on a type of enemy that fans will run into as they play. There are four short creatures portrayed in an open area of the Lands Between that resembles a swamp, and each of them is equipped for combat. Two of the enemies carry curved swords that are like elongated Scimitars, while the other two hold different types of staves
