Peacock’s upcoming action-comedy series Twisted Metal adds actress Neve Campbell to its star-studded cast. The forthcoming half-hour live-action series is from writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick (Zombieland, Deadpool) and is based on the iconic Playstation game of the same name. Twisted Metal will see the series lead, Anthony Mackie (The Falcon and the Winter Soldier), take on the role of John Doe, a blabbermouth outsider who has been promised an opportunity at a better life if he fulfills a mysterious package delivery across the post-apocalyptic wasteland.
Now, Peacock has officially announced that famed Scream queen Neve Campbell will be joining Mackie in Twisted Metal. Campbell will recur as a guest star in the upcoming TV series, taking on the role of Raven.

In the Playstationvideo game world, the Twisted Metal character Raven, whose name was birthed from her love of the winged animal and her black wardrobe, drove the famed vehicle Shadow, which was modeled after a hearse. While details surrounding Campbell’s portrayal of Raven are currently been kept close to the vest, the actress seems to be a perfect match for this character’s live-action take. Besides Mackie, Campbell will be joining Thomas Haden Church (Spider-Man: No Way Home) and Stephanie Beatriz (Brooklyn 99) in the upcoming series cast. With showrunner Michael Jonathan Smith (Cobra Kai) also onboard the upcoming project, Peacock’s upcoming live-action adaption of Twisted Metal is already shaping up to be a flavorful comedy that fans with a Sweet Tooth won’t want to miss.
