Marvel's Avengers Skin Gives Hulk Bunny Slippers & A Gun

A hilarious new Marvel's Avengers outfit gives the Incredible Hulk a pair of bunny slippers and a high-tech gun. Crystal Dynamics' superhero simulator lets players take control of Earth's Mightiest Heroes and customize them with a large wardrobe of cosmetic skins. Recently Marvel's Avengers added MCU Ms. Marvel as a skin, based directly on the Inhuman hero's new Disney+ series, and now Hulk is receiving a wacky comic-inspired suit.

Since launch, Marvel's Avengers has been criticized for its technical issues and expensive cosmetic microtransactions. However, Crystal Dynamics has received praise for frequently adding new high-quality skins based on Marvel Comics history and the Marvel Cinematic Universe. While many of the outfits available at launch were simple reskins, over time Marvel's Avengers has built up a respectable wardrobe of recognizable costumes for Earth's Mightiest Heroes. MCU skins reflect live-action designs featured in films like Avengers: Endgame and Captain America: Civil War, while comic designs pull from decades of Marvel history. For example, recently Marvel's Avengers added Cosmic Herald Thor which was pulled directly from the 2020 comic storyline The Devourer King.

Now Marvel's Avengers (via Twitter) has revealed a new Hulk skin that gives the Green Goliath a laser gun, bandoliers and bunny slippers. The Bunnies and Bandoliers costume is pulled directly from Incredible Hulk #390, which was published in 1992 and kicked off the exciting War & Pieces storyline.
