Netflix Schedule October 16-22: New TV Shows & Movies Being Added
Starting on October 17, viewers will be able to stream Silver Linings Playbook. This romantic comedy-drama film based on Matthew Quick’s 2008 novel of the same name, revolves around Pat Solitano Jr. (Bradley Cooper), a man with bipolar disorder, who enters a dance competition with a young widow, Tiffany Maxwell (Jennifer Lawrence), in exchange for her help in winning back his estranged wife.
Then, on October 18, subscribers can stream the thriller-drama series Kaala Paani. This series will be set in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, where its inhabitants enter a race for survival after a mysterious illness descends upon the islands. The series will feature a star-studded Indian cast comprising Ashutosh Gowariker, Mona Singh, Amey Wagh, Arushi Sharma, Vikas Kumar, Chinmay Mandlekar, and Poornima Indrajith.
Finally, on October 20, viewers can stream the seventh season of Big Mouth, an animated sitcom that focuses on students based on show creators Nick Kroll and Andrew Goldberg’s upbringing in suburban New York. This series explores puberty while embracing an openness about the human body.
