Netflix's upcoming Fall of the House of Usher show has wrapped filming. A work from the mind of horror maestro Mike Flanagan, who previously delivered hits like The Haunting of Hill House, The Haunting of Bly Manor, and Midnight Mass to the streaming platform, Fall of The House of Usher is based on the short story of the same name by Edgar Allan Poe. The miniseries reunites Flanagan with notable collaborators like Carla Gugino, Carl Lumbly, Samantha Sloyan, Rahul Kohli, Henry Thomas, T'Nia Miller, and Kate Siegel. Bruce Greenwood is also starring after he replaced Frank Langella, who was fired over misconduct allegations. Plot details on the show are slim, although it is believed that Flanagan will update the 1839 story for a modern audience.
Production has been ongoing since January and now Flanagan confirms that he has wrapped filming on Fall of the House of Usher. Flanagan gave the promising update in a tweet on Sunday, where he acknowledged the support of the casts and crews who have been working with him on back-to-back projects since 2019. As the showrunner notes, they've made four shows over the past three years in Vancouver while also facing the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic. Take a look at Flanagan's tweet below.
