Neon Blood, the neo-noir cyberpunk RPG, has been set a release date of November 26th, developer ChaoticBrain Studios and publisher Meridiem have confirmed. Alongside the release date news, Meridiem has also revealed that there will be a physical release for Neon Blood though this is limited to PS5 and Nintendo Switch. The game is also being released on PC, but there is no physical release for that platform.
The story of Neon Blood is set in the year 2053 following World War Three, in which much of the world has been abandoned with people now living in a huge metropolis called Viridis, which itself is made up of two cities. There is Bright City, home to the upper echelons of society, and Blind City, where the poorer and downtrodden live. The main character is Axel McCoin, a detective from Blind City, who after seeing so many injustices is ready to rebel against the societal divide and lead a revolution. He will find allies who want to see the cause succeed, along with enemies who want to see it fail. One of those enemies is Ruby Emerald, who is introduced in the above trailer.
Neon Blood is an RPG which will feature puzzles to solve, conversations to navigate, and scenarios to investigate, all in the interest of bringing about revolution to Viridis.
