Volume 33 for My Hero Academia will be on sale starting from February 4, and it will focus on Izuku Midoriya's period as a solitary vigilante, called «Dark Deku». To promote the release, Shueisha released an amazing animated video, highlighting the major moments from the volume.
My Hero Academia is currently in its last arc, and the confrontation between the heroes and the evil All for One is reaching its climax. Many shocking events occurred, including the long-teased revelation of the traitor inside class 1-A. However, one of the darkest times in the series was when the protagonist Deku decided to distance himself from his friends and classmates, taking on his shoulders the whole burden of the fight against All for One. This led to Deku becoming a rugged-looking vigilante who operated non-stop to save civilians from the villains to the point that he did not even have the time to wash his clothes. While in the end class 1-A, and especially Uraraka, were able to breach into Deku's heart and convince him to come back to UA High, the whole experience still took a toll on the hero.

To further spur fans' enthusiasm, Shueisha has released, through the official Jump Comics channel, an animated trailer that showcases the major moments taking place over the course of the volume. The most touching scenes include the One for All statue with the «I am not here» sign, and Deku's longtime rival Bakugo reaching out to him. Here is the trailer in all of its beauty:
